nigori

There is no such thing as pure transparency in this world.
We all exist in a mixed, blurred and murky way.
“nigori” is not dirt, but layers, memories and unique individuality.
Yet society demands transparency.
Ambiguity is eliminated and well-defined contours are considered beautiful.
Through this work, we have attempted to visualise the beauty of “nigori”, which is difficult to affirm.
Colours dissolving in water, fabrics crossing each other, ambiguous borders.
What is reflected there may be a figure of us who do not have to pretend to be transparent.
